My "Chameleon" meluna Menstrual Cup bleaching

Ok so I posted about this last month on the feminine wear facebook group. But I thought I'd post about the here too, to see if I am really the only one who has had this happen. Also suggested by a group member too.

Ok so last month I started to use my purple xl meluna for the first time. I bought it January 2013 but didn't start to use it until last month. It had been kept in a makeup bag where there were crumbs of Milton tablets. It was absolutely fine in appearance. Out of the sun and any brightness in any way.
I started using it before my period started last month, took it out about 14 hours later, found half of it BLEACHED. (Think my period had also started at this point too). Really confused me.
I posted about it on the group and they said it could be bleaching from my period or vaginal fluids and to contact meluna. I did and they said in pretty bad English that it is because I left it sterilising too long. But I had NEVER washed it before at all with any type of tablet or liquid apart from water. I had also mentioned this in my initial email to them too.
(I also posted photos of this bleaching on the group last month.)

So the other day I took out my cup out of it's little pouch and found the colour had completely returned. Okaaayyyyyyy that's odd.

Thought that was all over, until I started my period again yesterday and took out my cup and found it has half bleached again. It looks like the bleaching is near exact to the last time it happened. Eh?

Am I the first one that has had this happen to them? Surely this can't be normal. I bought the cup off
Is my period blood and vaginal discharge this acidic to do this?! Surely not if I've never heard of this before. Could be a dodgy mistake meluna they shouldn't have sold because of faults?
