Hi all!

I supported the Lily Cup Compact on Kickstarter and will soon receive my first cup!

Does anyone have issues with the more solid bits of discharge getting stuck in their cups?

I do have bits that don't want to dump into the toilet, but they rinse out fine under the tap.

What do you do if you are not in a private bathroom? re-insert with the solid bits stuck in there? use TP?

I rarely have to empty in a public toilet. I think I wiped with TP last time that came up, which was probably almost a year ago.

Yeah TP. Also, Summer's Eve carries some wet wipes for women, like one in a sealed little pack so it won't dry out.

You can use that to help wipe it down and I think I saw a video where someone uses like a small dental brush ( Like the brushes for flossing?) to clean them out.

Re: Have you ever know about one menstrual cup--VL's dischargable menstrual mate
Wow ok, no. Is somebody just pasting this anywhere it's vaguely relevent? Kind of ironic that the OP is worried about solid clumps, which won't mess up most cups, but might clog the victoria's love.

The poster above you is clearly a bot/spammer for the Victoria's Love...mods might want to delete its posts...

Mod note
hi luckjessica. While we appreciate your enthusiasm, the community does have rules about the promotion of cups as well as the use of gendered language. Please refer to the community rules for more information. Since you've been posting this everywhere I'm going to ban you for a period of at least two weeks. If you want to talk about this please come to the mod community post (which is linked in the rules.) Thanks.

I've wiped the cup off with toilet paper in a public bathroom and then put it back in. It's a little messy but it works ok. Last week I was in a rest stop bathroom somewhere in Ohio and thought what the heck, and I just rinsed it in the sink. But I don't do that at school where people know me. Felt liberating though.
