So I found this new cup online. It's called Eve Cup and it's a Dutch brand - which I thought was really cool at first, because I am Dutch too! At closer inspection however, this new brand looks suspiciously a lot like the Lunette.

You can check it out here: http://femfulness.com/nl/

Any thoughts on this? Has anyone heard of or tried this cup?

My browser thinks that site is "malicious" so I didn't go there to look at it. I Googled images of it and it seems to be a Chinese knockoff of the Lunette that someone put into a box with "Eve" written on it. There are many other names for that same cup. And some are sold with no name. I don't think there's anything "dangerous" about the cup but I have ethical issues with the fact that it's a knock-off. You can probably find it cheaper from China on ebay or other online discounters if you want the same cup with no name on it.

Other than being a bit more see-through, they look exactly like Lunettes to me. I hate it when new cup companies put either no photo or small photos of the cup on the main page of their website. The nature shots are lovely, but where's the cup? At the very bottom, the size of thumbnails. That by itself raises suspicion!

They have an FB page (the main site did come up as an attack page for me too): https://www.facebook.com/femfulness/info?tab=page_info

And a picture of a few of the cups: https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/10409333_510216062437825_4307086482582323086_n.jpg?oh=0140ecbd5f8bf09cc15cdbf38a2d5eec&oe=55400AD6

Yeah, those look pretty darn Lunette-like to me.

Re: Eve Cup?
Definitely not. Though the Anigan EvaCup already has its fair share of knockoffs being sold on Alibaba etc.

Apart from the name your Eva Cup looks different from the Eve Cup so don't worry! I agree with kuradi on the ethical aspect. It feels like plagiarism to me. I wonder if Lunette knows that there are so many copies around. I think por_que_no recently showed us a Hawaiian cup that was in fact a Lunette too... This Eve Cup seems like a pricy knock-off as well since it's sold for 25 EUR and you can buy a Lunette for 30 EUR.

Is it safe to assume that when a brand name is on the cup (like my MCUK has and Diva Cups and Lunettes seem to have for example) that it's an original design? And that nameless cups are probably copies?

Many established cup brands don't have their brand name or logo printed on the cup--too many things stamped onto the mold make cleanup more difficult.

Are you referring to cleaning the cup or cleaning the mold?
In addition to the Lunette, my Sckoon, Ruby, Yuuki and MCUK have their names stamped on the cup (I think the Diva did, too, but that was too long ago to be certain). Some of them have where they're made as well, and the MCUK also has their cute leaping logo on the inner rim. =)

Cleaning/rinsing the cup. My (rather expensive) Si-Bell doesn't have any logo printed on it, but my Rainbow has "rainbow" printed inside. My Rainbow actually stains less easily than the Si-Bell though.

On the forum of the dutch menstrualcup-info site is somebody mentioning that it is problably a chinese knock-off. There's a newsitem on that site that mentions a possible producent of the cup http://www.gzbra.com/sdp/225160/4/pd-1026784/11534871-1791339/Hygiene_cup_soft_cup.html
You just pay a lot more for the Dutch version.
