Hi everyone,

I (31, no kids) am fairly new to this community. I bought a Mooncup UK six months ago and "we" got along right away (no troubles inserting or removing, no leakage)! I was so happy to have discovered a more comfortable, affordable and sustainable (not necessarily in that order) solution to my period. Recently, I decided to get another cup and bought a MeLuna Classic Medium, ball stem (similar size as the Mooncup UK). I used it on a couple of dry runs, but it has been no success so far. I had a lot of trouble popping it open, and when it did pop open, it was either too low (and I could feel it sticking out), or too high (and it hugged my cervix so tight that I had a hard time removing it)... Does anyone has any advice on this? Or should I just accept that the MeLuna is not my "goldilocks" cup and try a different brand (if yes, which one)? Thanks!

This was definitely happening to me with the Lily...I wonder if it was that inner lip grabbing my cervix, then (it's probably about 30mm in diameter since the full cup is 40mm diameter). When I got that suckering feeling I felt around and my cervix was definitely just fitting inside the cup--could feel the sides of my cervix just inside it.
