Hi everyone,

I (31, no kids) am fairly new to this community. I bought a Mooncup UK six months ago and "we" got along right away (no troubles inserting or removing, no leakage)! I was so happy to have discovered a more comfortable, affordable and sustainable (not necessarily in that order) solution to my period. Recently, I decided to get another cup and bought a MeLuna Classic Medium, ball stem (similar size as the Mooncup UK). I used it on a couple of dry runs, but it has been no success so far. I had a lot of trouble popping it open, and when it did pop open, it was either too low (and I could feel it sticking out), or too high (and it hugged my cervix so tight that I had a hard time removing it)... Does anyone has any advice on this? Or should I just accept that the MeLuna is not my "goldilocks" cup and try a different brand (if yes, which one)? Thanks!

I bought an extra cup for back up. Out of curiosity I decided to try a different brand. Perhaps I should have stuck with the Mooncup. But I'll give the MeLuna another try when my period arrives, and I'll try new folding techniques (so far, I used the C-fold and 7-fold). Thanks for all the advice! I appreciate it!
