Is nobody worried about the new Si-bell pouch being made of silicone and possibly damaging the cup? I have heard silicone is not supposed to touch silicone... or is the bag double lined so that the inside material is different and the actual silicone doesn't come in contact with the cup?
Sorry if this has been addressed before but I could not find anything on it.

The limited edition pink Si-Bells (only ones I've ever had) always came with the silicone bag. I don't believe touching silicone to silicone is a problem at all (I haven't noticed any problems), it's using silicone-based lubricants that's a problem. I do get annoyed at the fact that they use a non-breathable material for the bag, though--it won't let the cup air out.

I don't really care about it airing out while stored, I used to keep mine in a Nivea jar. Actually used to keep two in there, thats why I stumbled upon that person saying you're not supposed to let silicone touch silicone, at least not for a long period of time, because the material will try to merge together.

The bag is made from just silicone, no inner lining. The tie handles are also silicone. The clear ones come with a cotton bag, though

I thought the silicone touching silicone thing would put me off but it is so perfect! To be honest, even if it shortens the cup's life span, it is so worth it. I don't know how its possible that most people don't like this pouch. I usually use my pouches for something else that if I told you you would think I'm strange but this one I won't sacrifice! :D
