Hi :D

A fresh French cup, lol?
Two sizes.
Can be worn for up to 8 hours.

I do like its name!
It looks the same as the actual Natu..

The picture of the large cup enlarged has a very faded "natu" on it. I am wondering what is up with France. They appear to be taking/copying Italy's menstrual cups. So far France made Claricup in the image of Italy's Si Bell, identical except color and now France has this liberty cup which has the picture of Italy's Natu.

Yep.. Or could it be a rebranding thing ? Like Meluna also is named Holy cup on a Brazilian site. Or in France, the Lamazuna company kept their own name for Meluna (they now sell the Nature hem) to sell Meluna, but with Frank from Meluna's agreement. It seems Lamazuna 'should' even get an unedited Meluna colour to sell, at some point.

Also, Si-Bell company indeed sold their mould to other compagnies, such as Natu, the Lithuanian Amulette... Oh, not sure at all, but the Si-Bell may be made in France, actually ? Or they have something to do with France.
And for instance, I think the Farmacup also has similar features.. With Natu, which once was super close to the Si-Bell design.
Plus, the new Italian Smartcup appears to be extremely close to the Si-Bell (from an Italian friend who owns it) except it is more opaque, and has a leaf etc. symbol inside, in particular.
--> Would all these compagnies be using the original Si-Bell design, to create their own model?? After they would buy the mould from SB?

Finally, ahh... The Si-Bell itself has the same general shape and holes as.. The French Fleurcup! Hee ;o)

Sorry, my tablet didn't write it well lol : Lamazuna now sells the Natu, not "Nature".

A 'funny' detail about the Italian Farmacup : there is "FR" on the cup = like made in France?..

Oh look, negative grip rings! Interesting.

I have to agree that SiBell most likely sold their mold. Fleurcup IMO is the most successful copy/ rebrand of SiBell. I do not care much for the new Natu which is what the Liberty cup appears to be, unless in rebranding, they upgraded their silicone used to make the cup.

Hello again :o))
Oh actually, Fleurcup 'was born' before Si-Bell. Fleurcup appeared in May 2009, and Si-Bell in 2011. ;)

The company Si-line is in Cavaillon, France, it's in the first sentence of their "about us" page : http://www.si-line.eu/aboutus.aspx

And Natu changed its design some time ago : see this great blog from May 2013 : http://www.ecomestruazioni.it/nuova-natu-tutte-le-differenze

Cheers! x

If you're interested in some differences between SB and the newer Natu, (besides the type of silicone surface).. Si-Bell already is among the soft cups, but Natu is even softer. It is kinda extra soft ;o) even if the rim still opens well hehe.

Thanks for the timeline and clarification with Fleur and SiBell.
Yes, I have both SiBell and New Natu, having used them both, I agreeing that New Natu is softer than SiBell. I do not like the quality of the New Natu's silicone though. In contrast the SiBell is a much more luxurious cup. I would love to have the old Natu for comparison.

This company Liberty, They just faded Natu's brand on the cup and used the picture. Their ethics based on that is concerning. Natu still has it's website up and functioning but only shows the old cup (Sibell look-a-like). I guess contacting them is the only way to know what is going on.

You're welcome.^^
In case you would have missed it, here is an LJ topic in which luceafara compared the old Natu to the SB, with photos. ;-) http://menstrual-cups.livejournal.com/3133132.html
She noticed the old Natu's walls are a bit thinner, and thus it is softer than SB.

But on the other side, as the old Natu and the SB were made in the same factory, and -in the same mold- (http://www.ecomestruazioni.it/natu-e-si-bell-uguali-ma-diverse) but as the raw material (silicone) was slightly different :
Maybe (?) the fact that Natu's walls look thinner mostly is a feeling - again, since the mold appears to be the same. Then, this more translucent aspect + the higher softness might be due to the ingredients in the (different type of) silicone used? Hum, ha?

Oh, if ever you contact the Natu's company, would you mind keeping me updated?, about.. Err their thoughts about the Liberty's company, possibly about why it still is the old Natu showing on their official site, and -maybe- about that old Natu's design, especially its thickness compared with the SB's one.

Sorry if all this is confused, 'feeling sleepy right now haa.
Cheers xx

I contacted Parapharmadirect, that sells the Liberty Cup.
They say this is another brand than Natu (hum so a brand new brand, indeed?)
Plus, Liberty also is made in Italy, with 100% hypoallergenic medical silicone.

I wrote to the Natu company all the same a few hours ago, asking about different things.. Let's see what they'll say. ;)

No, they are not being truthful. That cup is the new Natu. I have pictures of my 2 Natu cups and that Liberty cup is identical. I tried to post the pictures in this comment and can not, but the pictures are in my scrapbook. Starting a new post is the only way for me to post the pictures.

Yeah, that was my thought, too ;s.
Unless the Ageti laboratories that originally 'instigate' the Liberty told them so. Right after I wrote to Parapharmadirect, I let a message to Ageti, too. No reply yet..

Hey thanks for your scrapbook :-). You have the lovely pink Si-Bells! It seems your two Natu have the same size.

(I just learnt the French EasyCup team should receive a sample of the Liberty.^)

Ah, we can have a close look to it on this page : http://www.raniania.fr/products/libertycup-coupe-menstruelle
We see a side of the cup where there are no letters nor numbers..
xquizite_insomxquizite_insom on August 19th, 2014 10:50 pm (UTC)
Thank you for following up. It will be interesting to see what Natu has to say.

Sorry, I did not see your previous replies. The last link shows the Liberty cup as the New Natu with no markings. Much better photographs and the bag is also identical. I have the small and large new Natu, somehow the pics make them look the same size. Yes, I love the hot pink color of SiBell.

You do some pretty good investigative cup work. Will watch for the company responses.
