I have a friend who has convinced me to get a menstrual cup. I've been searching for what cup I wanted, and in my adventures I found a cup that doesn't seem to have much information on it. I'm curious because I'm looking for a cup I can get off Amazon (or at least shipped in the US in a reasonable time frame) and this was one that I found but the name was completely unfamiliar to me. Does anyone have experience with the Monzcare R-Cup?

Here's a link to the Amazon listing, I can't seem to find a manufacturer website or anything: http://smile.amazon.com/Monzcare-R-CUP-Reusable-Menstrual-Green/dp/B00JY71XOW/

Never heard of it, but the description seems to be the same as for the other Chinese cups out there (the iCare cups etc). I almost want the cyan one just because of the pretty color, but it's just a bit too short for me!

Edited to add: it just occurred to me that the "R" in "R-Cup" could stand for "Rainbow"--meaning this is just a renamed Rainbow Cup. I seem to recall that some users here have tried them and liked them, so you could try searching the site for Rainbow Cup?

It looks like a Rainbow cup (solid stem, right shape, right grips). I have one and like it -- definitely find it more comfortable than the small Lunette or small Fleur. It's a pretty soft cup, good shape (like a LadyCup but with higher capacity due to the higher holes), and the solid stem doesn't bother me. Someone else did a burn test and said it passed for being pure silicone. Two things to be aware of: 1) it does smell like plastic at first; and 2) it's not the easiest cup to get open because it's quite soft and there are only two, rather small holes. I'm a pretty experienced cup user and I found it a bit fiddly at first. If you get it, try the origami or labia fold to start.

Duly noted!

If anyone is looking for a Rainbow Cup (with the old packaging), they are like half the price on Ebay if you bid rather than BIN. No cyan color though (that I could see)

I just saw this thread. At first, when i saw the Monzcare cup I thought it was a Fleurcup knockoff, but, true, it does resemble the rainbow cup.
I can't believe the prices they are asking for Chinese cups these days!

Monzcare Cups
I took a chance ordering a Monzcare R cup from Amazon and the box it came in says Rainbow Cup, so yeah. I really like it BTW. I got it looking to replace my LadyCup, which I've probably had for about five years now. I had cut the stem on the LadyCup pretty short for comfort, but recently have lower-back issues that make it difficult to reach to remove (see also short arms and chub belly). I wanted to see if an even softer cup would make a longer stem less irritating, and so far it's good, plus I like the grip rings around the stem and base. I almost tried the Skoon, but I was afraid the stem might tear. This one was half the price, so that's a plus, too.

Re: Monzcare Cups
I am now actually thinking of ordering one as a backup for my Si-Bell, so I was wondering--which size did you get, and which size Ladycup was it replacing? I really can't decide between the sizes because my Size L Si-Bell is fine, with only occasional issues with it unfolding inside, labial fold. I would be using it around the end of my period when my cervix lowers and dangles, though. I also like that the stem is thicker because on my old Si-Bell the stem snapped partway off (partly due to my being an idiot and applying a petrolatum-based ointment while on my period, and that degraded the silicone) so I am afraid to do a whole lot of tugging even on my new one.

Re: Monzcare Cups
I had a L LadyCup and the Monzcare/Rainbow is a size 2. I worried at some point in my cycle the untrimmed stem might irritate me, but this is my second cycle using it and I haven't felt it at all and it's been so, so much easier to remove. I have a pretty light cycle, so capacity and leaking is not something I can judge, but I've not had any issues. So far, I feel like I got lucky and stumbled across a perfect cup for me. Now Amazon's got them listed under $16 US, four dollars less than I paid, so I might pick up a spare in another color.

Re: Monzcare Cups
So I did a small comparison to my L Lady Cup and from what I could note without measuring, the Monzcare R cup is a little softer, the ridge of the rim is thinner and about half as tall/high, so like 1/8" thick, rather than 1/4" of the LC. The diameter was just a little smaller, other than that the cups looked identical in size. The R Cup has a line/slight ridge in the mold where the cup would be "full" about 1/4" below the holes, which are fewer and placed higher than the completely smooth mold of the Lady Cup. Unlike the ridged stem on the RC, the stem on the LC is completely smooth and hollow like a straw, which made it hard for me to get a good grip on, especially after I had trimmed it for poking me.

So I found this thread through Google while trying to see if Monzcare had come out with a bigger-capacity cup. Gotta say...my Rainbow (which I must have purchased in 2015? Maybe 2014?) is the only cup still in my rotation that has held up!! I keep breaking the stems on my other ones because I need to pull so much to get them reachable for removal (for weird anatomical reasons). Every cup needs the Monzcare's stem. Including my now-busted SuperJennie. I'm just sad that there's no XL Rainbow Cup that I can find because my work situation now limits my access to bathrooms (there's overcrowding in my building) and with age and fibroid growth I'm now bleeding more.
