Alright here goes my first post. I'm 15 and a virgin. I've had my small LadyCup for several months now and about 3 periods ago I finally felt like I had it all figured out. I thought I would never have to use a tampon or liner again. Whenever I put my cup in, it always seems to leak some, not like niagara falls overflow, but more than what should just be leftover on the walls that the cup didn't pick up. That happens most days of my period except for the last 2-3 light days. It leaks like that just while sitting and walking around the house. Good thing my mom still has a full range of supplies since I wasn't able to convert her.

Also, I play lacrosse and I go for runs alot. My cup always seems to leak then too. I find myself quickly putting in a tampon at the fields because my cup leaked on the ride there. I just can't trust my cup to last the whole game where I'm running up and down the feild with no possibilty of bathroom break to take a look-see. Sometimes it leaks like normal(at the house) and sometimes it leans more towards the 'waterfall" side.

I'm pretty positive 100% sure I'm getting a proper seal. I use the push-down fold to insert and wait for the little pop on the inside. Then I stick my finger up next to it until I can hear the air noise. Then I spin it around multiple times until it gildes easily. And after all that I run my finger along the bottom to make sure it's all inflated with no dents. I even wipe after to try and get the leftover stuff below the cup before it rains on my parade.

When I take it out it's like 1/3 to 1/2 full. Goopy stuff is usually always in the holes so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I read about the cervix thing and I can touch mine with my index finger pretty easily some of the time but other times my cup drifts up to point where I have to bear down to get it back. I don't know if my cervix is high or low or how to even tell.

Sorry for the overload!! I just wanted to make sure I included anything and everything that would clue someone in on my problem. Thanks in advance :)

Try the above suggestions about a larger capacity cup first, but if you still have trouble, consider a stiffer cup. If you're particularly athletic your muscles can squish the cup and cause leakage. I play roller derby and do manual labour for a living, and I know from experience that a soft cup just does not work for me.
