I just received my FemmyCycle cup. Is sex toy cleaner ok to use for cleaning?

I have the Jo Antibacterial Toy Cleaner.

Here are the ingredients: Triclosan (INCI), Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Purified Water (Aqua)

It's mostly just triclosan to kill bacteria and it says it's silicone safe.

Tricoslan is a horrible carcinogenic.. I would really avoid it at all costs

Triclosan has been possibly linked to anti-bacterial/antibiotic-resistant bacteria. In light of the concerns surrounding such agents, I personally recommend washing both cups and sex toys with warm, soapy water. Or using things that kill bacteria in other ways, such as alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.

The FDA is currently reviewing the use of triclosan in consumer products (which I coincidentally just read about yesterday).

What soap would you recommend?

Most members here say unscented soap. I just use the hand soap in my bathroom and rinse well, because I'm not too terribly fussy. Just don't use a soap labeled antibacterial. every other cycle I soak with hydrogen peroxide, but that's just for stain removal.

I used Sliquid Splash Gentle Feminine Wash.
I try to use only the Unscented on my cup but in a pinch I have used the ones with scents.
It's a vegan product and extremely gentle (stopped me from getting yeast infections). I use it everyday whether I'm on my period or not.

The only thing that sucks about it is that I haven't found a retail store that sells it (I have to buy it online).
