I have had an IUD for the past 5 years and am about to get it removed. I haven't had a period for the full time I have had my IUD (yay!) but since I am about to get it removed it will return (boo!). I would like to get some sort of menstrual cup to get ready for my period to return, but I live in Japan and I am having trouble finding one locally.

I have a low cervix and when I did have a period they were extremely heavy. I am also looking for an affordable option as most of what I am finding online that can be shipped in Japan is $50+ with most being over $100. Can anyone suggest a cup that can handle that that I could order online and have shipped to Japan?

Most cups can be shipped anywhere for personal use. Use the size charts at http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ or any of the others at the Community FAQ to pick the one you think will fit and suit you best. Then either order directly from the manufacturer or from any number of trusted distributors throughout the world such as Feminine Wear in the UK. Check the "where to buy" tag for others.

Edited to add: There are also very inexpensive knock-off cups from China on both eBay and Amazon.

The Fleurcup ships worldwide for just 4.99 €. It's one of the most inexpensive cups and a lot of people like it. And they're having a sale now, but it ends in 2 days, I think.

Here's Feminine Wear's shipping rates, you can buy almost any cup from that site

Hope this helps, good luck!

This site also clearly indicates which brands offer free worldwide shipping. http://shop.menstrualcup.co/categories/Menstrual-Cups/

The Bella cup is made in Korea so maybe shipping would be fast because it is geographically close.

Where to buy a cup in Japan
Sound like you are looking to buy a cup online from outside of Japan but you can purchase them within Japan, too.
I am Japanese but not reside in Japan at the moment.
I had a look into buying a cup in Japan recently but not many choices. I found this site but can't find in English...
If you can see it, there are Diva cup and Sckoon cup available.

Other place you may be able to purchase a cup would be an organic shop. I don't know which part of Japan you reside but in Tokyo there are many organic shops.

Also I find them at Japanese AMAZON.

Hope it helps.

Re: Where to buy a cup in Japan
Seconding these two options. Amazon Japan and Rakuten are amazing. Amazon will probably have faster and cheaper shipping (plus an English page, if Japanese is an issue), but Rakuten vendors are generally really reliable if you'd rather go that route. I wish they had sold cups when I lived there. I had to make the plunge and ship from abroad, but it was worth it in the long run anyway.

All of the above, plus one more site that ships various brands world-wide:
