Cups and caps: similarities and differences?

For those of you who use a cervical cap, how would you say using it compares with using a cup? Femcap interests me, but with my high cervix, I found the mini-Meluna small very hard to remove, so I wonder whether it would be feasible to place and remove a cap on a regular basis. Thanks for any ideas.
