Hello all! I am new to LG and to menstrual cups for that matter… I think I accidentally started this discussion in the MC sales so I wanted to post it here. I need some help! I am 26 and am ready to give cups a try, I have been lurking on here for a while and it seems that the softer cups are more comfortable (especially for a noobie) I am open to suggestions but I was looking at Si-Bell, Sckooncup, and even a lunette…I feel like I am kind of stuck. I have no children and am not sexually active …which leads me to pick the smaller size cup but I have a moderate-heavy flow( especially on the first 2 days) and I getting closer to the 30 year mark…which makes me think larger. I haven’t checked where my cervix is on my period, but I have no trouble inserting a super/ super+ tampon, off my period I can’t reach it without bearing down…(sorry if this is all TMI but I really appreciate a place to talk openly about this stuff!) Do I just have to suck it up and get a smaller size cup and possibly change it more frequently? Like I said I am totally new to cups, but any and all suggestions would be so helpful! I know it sounds lame but 30- 40 dollars is an investment for me…I just want to find something that works! You guys are great…thanks!

Cup too soft??
D you think a cup can be too soft that it won't open properly? Or is it all in technique and time...maybe there is just a learning curve!

Re: Cup too soft??
There's a really good post about that at the Community FAQ.
