Hi there,
I have been using my Mooncup UK (smaller size) happily for two years. Since I went on the pill for my heavy periods the cup seems to have been sitting really low and the base of it completely comes out on heavier days. It has become really uncomfortable and I am looking to get another cup. I assume I must need a shorter cup. I am happy with this cup otherwise. I was thinking a meluna, either mini or small. I am concerned that the mini has a really low capacity. Can anyone suggest or help with which cup I should buy?

Compare your Mooncup to the others at the various size and capacity charts over at the Community FAQ.

Since you are comfortable with insertion, don't be afraid of a wider cup. The extra 3mm of rim width will be negligible.

I am thinking Meluna mini small, but would get medium if that would still work

The small Mini is TINY and not much capacity. Unless your flow is really light, it probably won't work for more than just your lightest days.

As I said, compare the dimensions and capacities. Many of the short cups will probably fit you. Figure out which ones you think would suit your needs best. Then use side by side comparison photos to pick one of those that you think would be most comfortable.

Of course the medium Mini would work. Or just any shorter cup : small Meluna, even possibly medium Meluna, small Sckoon cup, small Fleurcup/Si-gell, etc. The main differences between those are stiffness and capacity, so consider all factors.

one size cup
the femmecup is only one size, I think it works for you. It isn´t very big, but it isn´t very small too, I have one since a week ago and it´s very pretty and comfortable ( I tried in a dry run).

If the base of your cup of it completely, I recomend you don´t use a small cup.
