I heard a really neat thing on a museum tour recently, that the moon's rays actually bleach much more powerfully than the sun's. They said that people used to hang out their white linen around the time of the full moon and that museums have to take moon rays into account to protect their displays. Has anyone else ever heard this? Might be interesting for those who like to disinfect their cup in sunlight but are concerned about heat.

That's hard to believe, as the moon's light is just reflected sunlight.
