I have a very low cervix during AF, the diva cup is to big, I need a short cup and a wide rim? what one would work. I notice if I get shorter cups the rim sometimes goes smaller.

There are many versions of size charts over at the Community FAQ that will answer your question.

Since you seem to already have a Diva, flip it inside out to shorten it. It's perfectly OK to wear it that way if it works for you. That way, you can take your time in deciding if another cup might fit/suit you better.

If you do want another cup, use what you know about your Diva to pick a size range, then use side by side photos to narrow those choices down to a shape that you like best.

thanks I have been researching and it looks like the meluna minis will be perfect, or the meluna med. I actually tried inside out and it didnt feel right :( still to long.

The Diva is the longest cup. So there are other considerably shorter cups without going to the Meluna minis on the other end of the scale. Trust me, getting a mini small off a higher cervix is no picnic :(

In the mid-range (around 5 cm long) with wide rim, the large Fleur is really nice, but you have lots of choices in that range.

But if you want under 5 cm, Lybera just came out with their cup which, according to their website, is wider than it is longer (4.6 cm wide like the large Diva, 4.5 cm long) - similar dimensions to the Meluna medium mini.

I was measuring my cervix and its super low, its lower than the size of my index finger :( I will keep my diva cup than for later when my cervix gets higher. Do you think the medium sport would be to short>?

The thing about the Mini meluna is that they are very low-capacity. My cervix sits at about two knuckles deep, or just a little more and I can wear middle-length cups such as the large Fleurcup or Cuplee. You can use a ruler to measure your finger and then compare that to the charts, keeping in mind that cups typically sit (o) around the cervix, so you have a little leeway : http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/

You don't need a cup to be shorter than the distance to your cervix, like juliiie87 said. I use wider shorter cups that leave enough capacity for long cervix days. (My own goldilocks cup dimensions, 45mm wide and 50ish mm long not including stem.)

thanks ladies, this helps out alot, on the good note, my flow is super light, capacity is not a issue at all. I could go all day and night without needing to dump at all. I do nknow the stem might not be cutting off with the shorter cups.

went with the large meluna soft. I hope it works, this diva is to long, even with the stem all the off, I tried inside out but it dosnt get a great suction that way. I notice in the evening it is lower and the diva wont stay in at all, my cervix just pushes down on it. and yes I went to the bathroom to see if that would help, good thing this cycle is almost over.

Tip for when you start using it:
Not sure if the large ones needs this, but I stick my small, mini s, and medium soft Melunas in a cup of ice water or run them under cold water before inserting them. This helps them pop open easier.
