I have a sm Sckoon cup- no matter what i do... i cannot get it to unfold unless its right at the entrance/not in at all, then i push it up inside... and then my fluid just flows right down past it and into my panties *shakes fist* what am i doing wrong. It's comfortable and i cant feel it... but it isnt doing it's job. In a way this is hilarious. I was ADAMANT on getting a cup and have two...my sister, who has never heard of cups and didnt want one when i told her about it had great success with the lg Sckoon I gifted her...she now loves it and im left so annoyed with mine. any help would be super. Im in the dreaded learning curve

Despite what the instructions say and the illustrations show, you want the cup to settle (O) around or below your cervix. If the opening of your cup winds up next to it, it will be like trying to fill your mug by pouring coffee down its side.

First, find your cervix. Sometimes it's a little off-center. A little to the left? A little to the right? Most likely, its closer to your belly-button than your tail bone. I also open the cup fully down low -- and then I give the base a good shove (rearward for me, ??? for you) to aim the opening toward my cervix. And finally, I kegel it up and into place. Will that work for you too? Give it a try. :o)

I tried that...I have no idea if it worked yet. It took me forever to find my cervix...and maybe i didnt find it at all. I have read to look for something that feels like the tip of your nose, and i think i did but it's ridiculously deep and extremely hard to touch. So basically i just inserted my cup as deep as i possibly could aiming toward where i hope my cervix is.... we'll see?

Sounds about right... if it stops leaking like it isn't there, that was it! it should portrude some... like portruding belly button and feel funny when you touch it.

When I used a small keeper three years ago, it always leaked. Always. You are wise to consider a different size.

It makes sense given you have a long canal and difficulty encercling your cervix. But most importantly, you need to make sure it's open all the way before you try to shove it near your cervix, or it won't work, if that isn't what you were doing already. Try different folds and facing them differently (for me ? I would say labia fold or half diamond facing down/back).

You're so right. I'm sorry. I didn't even think before I typed... let me correct it and again I'm sorry.
