My period has arrived so this will be my first time using my Lilycup (or any cup for that matter). Had a few practise runs yesterday with the cup and no problems getting it in or out. Will let you all know how the Lilycup performs over the next few days.

Oh great! I've been waiting to hear more about it. What is the stem like? Just looking at pictures, it seems really long and pokey. Is it? Could it be trimmed? Can you flip the cup inside out? I'm looking forward to reading about your experience!

Yes, the Lily is quite long, so it's best if you have a very high cervix. It did poke out a tiny bit for me but it's actually not uncomfortable...just a little noticeable if my cervix dips low (by my standards). I did trim one notch off the stem though. The whole cup is quite soft so it's comfy...but you can't flip it inside out due to the design of the rim.

Me too I look forward to your post as well. Seems like it is longer than a Divacup. Is the stem solid and hard? Looks like the stem is not that flexible?

Update
Ladies.

One full day and night using my Lilycup and yes, it's brilliant.

First let me say how easy it is to insert. I have no problems getting it to open up. And removal is a doddle too. The rim on the cup ensures that there is no spillage when taking it out either.

I suspect that my cervix has gone a tiny bit higher as on my practise run I could feel the end of the stem rubbing against the edge of my vagina but now I can hardly see the stem when I look with a mirror. The stem seems to hang to the right too and that's the side that I was able to feel a small bit of irritation initially but maybe that's just me getting used to it. We'll wait and see!

Anyway after nine hours, the cup was just over 3/4 full. Took it out, emptied it, gave it a rinse and popped it back in - simple! No mess, no leaks, no smell unlike the pads I've been wearing for 25 years! A tiny bit of blood on a panty liner but I suspect that might be blood that had dribbled into my vagina when I had the cup out.

A 12hr work shift and 8hr sleep and all is good with my Lilycup. Keep you updated!

By the way, this is my first time using a cup. I never even knew they existed up until a few weeks ago so I can't really compare other brands to the Lilycup. Maybe other more experienced members might be able to help.

Re: Update
Nice! Stem hanging to the right = your cervix probably hangs left, like mine, so the top of the cup likes to sit that way inside you. The stem on mine also likes to lean to the right.

Further update
I bought my Lilycup as an impulse buy. But while waiting for the cup to arrive in the post, I found this website. Suddenly I got frightened that this new creation (or so I thought) which was going to make my dreaded period easier to manage mightn't work.

I read the posts about cups not opening, folds not working, leaks, spills when removing cups, different sizes etc. etc. I never realised that there was so much thinking to do about cups - I just clicked on an ad, liked what I saw and bought my Lilycup. I didn't even know that other cup manufacturers existed!

AS you can read from my other posts, the Lilycup does what it says it will do. The folds work, the cup opens, I can insert my finger and feel the cup sitting around my cervix, it doesn't leak, it doesn't spill when I remove it, it's easy to clean and then reinsert. It's not even a five minute job and there's no drama.

This really is a lovely product and I'm delighted with it.
