What tool should I use to make the holes bigger without ruining the cup? I have had problems breaking suction and was recommended to make the holes bigger or get a new cup. I would like to try making the holes bigger before having to go buy.

Also, I have been breaking the seal by sliding a finger over the rim and bending it down. When I can do this the cup comes out beautifully(albeit messy) with no pain. However there have been several times when I cannot get my finger over the rim and because of this it is then painful to remove. I am hoping larger holes and when I am able to get my finger over the rim will eliminate those painful occasions!

Thank you in advance!

Some have tried scissors and drill bits, which can leave a ragged hole. Not a big deal but a little stubborn to clean.

Others have claimed to have had better luck with piercing needles or dermal (biopsy) punches.

Piercing tool sizes: 16g = 1.5mm, 14g = 1.75mm and 12g = 2mm.

Logic says that the tapered ones will most likely just stretch the hole, not cut it. (And then it will bounce back to its original size when the tool is removed.) The punches are more likely actually cut a hole.

The holes on the cup with the biggest holes are 2mm. The 1.5mm holes in my Lunette are just fine too.

The Keeper was one of the first cups I had. I remember the suction was firm but when it came time for me to remove it I just pinched the base and held it pinched for about 30 sections to release the seal and then rocked it back and forth as i was pulling it down to remove it. Just my two sense in case you don't want to make the holes bigger. Good luck.

I will try that before making the holes bigger!

It looks like if holding the base for 30 seconds and then making the holes bigger doesn't work then the CupLee will be the next cup. I was really interested in the Femmycup but after reading a review decided it's not for me now, wish it was.

I hope the tips work! Really want to buy a new cup but shouldn'tcan't spend that kind of money right now, even though it's so worth it!
