I was just wondering if the seal would break easier and if there would be less suction when removing a softer cup like a soft meluna? It seems like it would be, but I wanted the opinions of people who've actually tried them.

Yes, easier to break with a soft cup, hard with a stiffer one.

Not sure, but it's harder to break the seal with a cup with smaller air holes.
The Diva has small air holes. So that may be part of your problem.

I agree. The MeLuna's holes are bigger than the Diva's but not by much.

Also consider the length differences between the Diva and the small/medium (which are more like x-small and small) MeLunas that you mentioned recently. The Divas are 57mm and the MeLunas are 45 and 48 (and 51 and 56 for the larger sizes.) If the long length of the Diva fits/suits you well, digging out such short cups might prove to be even more difficult despite the (slightly) larger anti-suction holes.

If the Diva fits you otherwise, you'd be better off enlarging the holes.

Also, technique has a lot to do with it. You're still in the dreaded learning curve and I don't recommend buying another cup until you've perfected insertion and removal with the one you've got -- so that you can make a more informed decision about your next one instead of guessing and hoping.

The Diva mostly fits good, but it is just a bit to long, like I can easily reach the base and the stem is always just at the opening of my vagina, like I can even feel it when I wipe. So that's why I wanted a slightly shorter cup.

Slightly, OK. But 57 to 45 or 48 is a big jump.

Consider the large MeLuna as well as the small/medium. Don't be afraid of what it's called. It's only 1mm wider than your Diva and more of a "medium" length.

Ok, I will. :) My only issue with that is that my Diva I think is about as wide as I can go. Idk if anything bigger would fit. (I know the vagina itself stretches, but getting it past the opening is what would concern me)

And I honestly am gonna keep working with my Diva for a few more months to get past the learning curve, I'm just asking so many questions for future reference. lol

The Diva has a thicker rim than some of the other cups. There are cups that are easier to fold into a smaller shape.

However, it's smart to learn to work with it first, you'll have a much better chance of getting it right the second time.

You could trim a very small amount off the stem just so you don't feel it if that really bothers you.

Yes, definitely. I've used a Keeper, and both classic and soft Melunas, and Meluna soft is my absolute favorite for ease of insertion/removal.

I agree with the other commenter : if the stem is bothering you, trim it down/off! Personnally I find softer cups generally easier to fold back smaller for removal, and perhpas easier to grab. Not sure about suction since I don't really have an issue with that.
