I completely agree with kuradi.
Unless the screw-like stem could hold some blood the cup wouldn't have any capacity at all to be useful.
I doubt the applicator would be useful, as sometimes the cup wouldn't open completely or it will be placed where it shouldn't and digital maneuvers will be required anyway. And also, if the applicators seems to be useless for insertion, it's even more useless for removal. Who on earth had the brilliant idea to design an applicator to trap the cup and unscrew it?
The cup has a light bulb shape, but it isn't leading any light into the menstrual cup world.
