first off a huge THANK YOU to everyone for their cup advice!! I got the cup in and opened up, thank you for the suggestion to widen the suction holes a bit!

I wore my cup for 3 hours last night before I wrangled it out before bed, then have worn it all morning so far at work. On my lunch I noticed it had leaked a tiny bit so I took it out, wanted to check and see if it had overflown or if it in fact WASN'T open like I'd thought. I think my issue was that it was a bit too low--and so it kept moving. At one point I moved and felt some very awkward air bubbles pop out, I'm gonna assume that was the source of my "leak". When I reinserted it I tried to push it up a little farther...should that help? Any other tips for getting the good seal, now that I've managed to get it in...and open twice?

....this is so exciting!

My trick for getting my cup settled properly is to insert it just past the pubic bone, then use my pelvic floor muscles to pull it in at the same time as I tug outward a bit on the stem. The squeeze-and-release seems to pop mine open no matter what fold I use, and once I let go of the stem my own muscles pull it up to where it seems to want to be.

Easier to do than it is to describe, at least if you're comfortable using those muscles. If not, practice on your finger a bit. :)

The cup was sitting earlier as "instructed" with the bottom right at the opening , so it was squished by the pubic bone. Now I have it so the bottom is just over the pubic bone. I can reach it, can't feel it in, and its been there since 11:30 am and no leaks yet!!!

Those instructions are generally crap. ;)

When I first started using cups I had some leakage issues...turns out my cervix points to the left and the cup was opening up to the side of my cervix instead of around it. Now I aim the cup over to my left side, and stir around the cup with my finger to make sure I can't feel the end of my cervix. This has made all the difference for me.
