I was using a DivaCup previously, which I lost recently. I had leaking problems pretty much every first couple of nights with the Diva, every cycle, which I think is because my cervix lowers and sits in the cup. It would also cause it to be able to hold less. So I would like to try something shorter and wider. Someone suggested a large fleurcup but I'm apparently not qualified to use it because I'm under 30 and haven't given birth.

Is it possible that I could need a large anyway?

I would love some fleurcup testimonials if anyone has any.

IGNORE the 'small' and 'large' labels, that's all they are labels!

many virgins and women under 30 or who have never had children use the 'large' sized cups because they have a heavy flow,
or because their cervix is low on some days so a wide roundbottomed cup (like the Fleurcup)provides more capacity that a pointybottomed cup (like the Diva)even if their cervix is sitting in the cup, this is because the cup can sit around the cervix rather than just under it. or because they want to go longer inbetween emptying.

If you use a soft stiffness cup, the width shouldn't matter, after all the vagina expands nicely for sex etc!

likewise some users over 30/who have had children use a 'small' cup if it fits them better, they have a light flow etc.

I personally am 23, no children, struggle to have sex comfortably unless covered in lube, yet use a large fleurcup on my heavy/low cervix days. :) I also have a small lunette and a small fleurcup.

I hope this helps!

You already have some valuable testimonies already but just as another, I'm 15, a virgin, and 87lbs(so I'm very small) and my Lg Fleurcup is my favorite cup (out of my diva, sm Fleur, and sm Ladycup). I too have an extremely low cervix that I know for sure dangles into cups and the Lg Fleur is the only cup that I can wear comfortably for five hours on my heavy day without overflowing. I recommend buying one if you are cup hunting :)

I'm under 30, have never given birth, sexually active. I honestly don't know what science, if any, is behind any of that labeling hogwash. Does something magically happen to a person's vagina after they hit 30? Does the canal not shrink back after giving birth vaginally?

I chose a large Fleurcup because of the rivers of blood that has become my period with a Paragard. Dry run with the L Fleur was quite difficult, but once I was menstruating it went in smoothly. Only issue I had was the learning curve of finding out which fold works best for me. I do think it occasionally worsens my cramping because of the newly developed sensitivity of my cervix (due to IUD insertion) and, being a new cup user, I still have some issues making sure it opens up completely once inserted. But issues because of my age, vaginal birth status, weight, height, etc.? Nope.

I also started out with a Divacup, and had similar leaking issues at times. Switched to a large Fleurcup, and love it! I'm 26, no kids, and low cervix. It's perfect for me. :)

I've been using only large sizes for years (since I was a 16-year-old petite virgin) because I have a super heavy period. Never had a problem! I'm 22 and I still have only used large sizes excluding a small diva. I can't even feel them. Small and large sizes are only labels.

Wearing my large Fleurcup on a dry run just now, as I'm expecting AF anytime this week. I'm 25 and no kidoes btw. I'll admit it's giving me some random dull cramps (lighter than a pap smear and much lighter than my light period cramps), but it's just a dry run and I usually wear the softest cups. So I mean, it fits. And that translucent red-pinkish color is gorgeous! and so is the green, btw. ^^
