I want to purchase a yuuki from menstrualcup.co, but my mother has access to my credit card statements (even though I'm 22) and I would rather keep this purchase private. Long story short, how does a paypal purchase appear on the statement?

Edit: I found a paypal card to deposit directly to your paypal account. Gas station prepay visa cards are just a tad too sketchy for me. Thanks for the tip!

You can use Paypal to pull from a bank account as well, so do you have one of those you could use to make the purchase?

i don't know but in general cup shops try to be very discreet.
plus a purchase of under 40 € shouldn't attract her attention imo?

Our credit card company calls my mother for any purchases from outside the USA as a fraud precaution and I do buy from overseas pretty frequently via ebay and etsy, so they don't raise attention. I just don't want a call that asks "Have you made a recent purchase at menstrualcups.co recently?" :P

You could pay using cash via UKASH from Feminine Wear. You buy a voucher and then spend the voucher on the website, then the transaction is anonymous

How about buying a gift credit card from a grocery store or somewhere with cash, then using that?

I actually found a paypal card that can be linked to your paypal account. I think I will use that!

I'd say it depends on how your PayPal is set up. As far as I know, it can be topped up from your credit card immediately, or periodically.
In the latter case, I think it doesn't say anything about what the money has been used for. That's on your PayPal statements, not the credit card statements, they weren't paid from the credit card after all.

Or so I think.

Can't you look at older statements to check?

I've never made a paypal purchase from overseas until now after I did some christmas shopping :) Apparently it only appears as the recipient's email address. Usually if I pay directly by debit card the statement shows the company name, but not with paypal apparently.
