I noticed probably 2 out of the 10 months I've been using my DivaCup it tends to leak a little.  Not a major issue, I just have to remember to use pantiliners.  I don't normally have a problem with leaks.  During the 2 cycles I experienced leaks I put the cup in normally as I always do but it just doesn't seal right or something.  Like I said this happened 2 out of the 10 months I have been using it.  Could it be my vagina muscles overadjusting or something?  They should be used to this thing by now.

Also I told a friend of mine about menstrual cups.  She says she has REALLY heavy days and would have to change the cup every hour or so.  She also wears an IUD.  Any heavy-day ladies care to share?  She is intrigued by them and is open to new ideas other than using her pads and tampons.

Thanks all!

Heavy Flows
I have a heavy flow. On my heavy days I would have to change my high-absorbency tampons every 1-1.5 hours. So I would always have a pad as backup, I couldn't be running off to change so often at school/work.

I don't have experience with other brands, but as you do I have a DivaCup. I found that I could use my DivaCup twice as long as high-absorbency tampons without problem. So I typically say a DivaCup has twice the capacity of a high-absorbency tampon, resulting in half of the bathroom trips. So, that is every 2-3 hours on my heavy days.

I also find that if I have reach my cup capacity I have a longer time to get to the bathroom, there isn't an "OMG I have got to get to a bathroom NOW" as there is when my tampon has reached capacity. That is, my panties will not near instantly turn red once cup capacity is reach, as it will once tampon capacity is.
