Does anyone know which cup has the biggest air holes? I've been looking all over the internet and I can't seem to figure that out (it's hard to tell in pictures, cameras are tricky). Is there a chart anywhere that includes a ranking by suction hole size?

My first guess would be the Mpower cup. Do keep in mind that I haven't seen one of those in person, so I'm going by pictures! I don't know of a listing that includes hole size, sorry.

The Miacup has especially large holes.

Miacup used to have a spec drawing on their site that showed the holes as 2mm in diameter. (Is it still there? I didn't check.)

And FYI, the holes in my large Lunette are appx 1.5mm.

Thank you! I wonder if any other companies record their hole diameter?

is there a reason for wanting a cup with larger holes? lots of users have had success enlarging their Diva cups (tiny) holes with a hot needle, body piercing tools etc, so if your goldilocks cup's holes are too small you can always make them bigger :)

I am doing research and it would be a big help for me to have that information. I'm not sure if larger or smaller holes would be better for me necessarily, so I stopped trying to enlarge the holes in mine when I damaged one of them by accident. :/

I think Melissa does a fair amount of comparison between brands and close-ups that allows to compare holes somewhat (when she doesn't mention it)...

And I assume you've seen her side by side pics ? http://menstrualcups.friendhood.net/f52-moderator-s-photo-library

I *think* the Naturcup's look fairly big too, fyi it's a soft base/firm rim cup.

Thank you, I have seen all of her videos and regularly visit the comparison photos. :) The camera or angles she uses distort the photos a bit so comparing things like the holes are very difficult (at least on my computer). I just wondered if anybody had ever recorded the diameter of each of the air holes.

the diameter in mm would be too detailed, but there's this spreadsheet http://menstrual-cups.livejournal.com/2267626.html with general descriptions like high, low, large, medium and the number of holes.

Thanks! I'm surprised I haven't come across that spreadsheet yet, it's quite helpful. :D

cup air holes
Could I ask - what are the pros/cons of having more or less air holes? What difference does the number of air holes make? Thanks!
