Sorry to post again so soon, but a member here sent me a private message asking about her small Lunette not holding up in the middle of the night, and she wasn't sure if it was a capacity thing, or a suction thing.  And also asking if Cup Lee has better capacity.  I tried to send her a reply in a private message, but I got the following error message:

"This message cannot be sent to (member name withheld for privacy) because the recipient has enabled the privacy options for their messages."

Hmm....  First time I have seen that error message.  I didn't know how else to get my reply back, so hopefully she knows me from this community and hangs out here, so she will see my response (and of course others are welcome to add advice):

"Cup Lee does hold a little more than small Lunette.  I wouldn't say there is a suction war between the two, but when I tried Cup Lee, it didn't leak.  I do like Cup Lee for its capacity and softness, I wish I had an extra one so I could trim it up and use it on heavier days, lol.  I like the large Lunette in that regard, but its just too stiff for me, my lower abdomen tends to get sore if I wear a stiffer cup too long.  One way you can help determine if its suction or capacity is maybe set an alarm in the middle of the night to go empty your cup.  If that solves the problem, then you know its only a capacity thing.  On my heaviest days (second and third day) I do have to empty my small Lunette once in the middle of the night.

Hope this helps-- Melissa"

I love my Cuplee ! It is very soft but still very easy to use, indeed. No suction issues either, it stays put beautifully in any situation (sleeping, using the bathroom, etc.)

The main difference between the small Lunette and the large Cuplee (only one available) is length though ! She needs to take that into account. The there's stiffness. Idk about capacity since I've never used a Lunette. I'd say it's not the top one but very decent ? Idk, my flow is usually very light.

So the CupLee wouldn't make that much of a difference in capacity compared to the small Lunette?
I'm thinking about getting a CupLee or Large Fleurcup as a backup cup for nights.

The Lunette is about 20 ml, the Cuplee is about 25, the large Fleur is about 30. http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/
