Hi, everyone!

I recently found out that the Swedish toy company LELO is releasing their own version of the menstrual cup, the Intimina Lily Cup. What do y'all think?

(I am in no way associated with LELO or its Intimina line. I just wanted to pass some menstrual cup related gossip I thought some people would probably be interested in.)

I admit to being anything but impressed. It looks HUGE,long, and the stem looks horribly uncomfy (not that I could use that anyway) and the lip inside the cup, while it looks like its there to help prevent leaks and spills, it looks pretty ouchie to put around a cervix, especially sensitive ones. And if your cervix fits inside the cup, its going to have to pull opposite ways against that lip when you try to remove the cup- I'd wager this cup is harder to remove than others. Just my two cents.

I agree. I think the lip is good in theory. It looks really futuristic cool and sleek. But whoever designed it must not have a lot of experience or knowledge of cups. I'm still interested to see how it works and if anyone here buys it, hopefully they'll share the experience with us.

At first I thought it looked like a slightly smaller feminine pee device... like a GoGirl. Then I looked at it closer and saw that it wasn't but the lip threw me off. It does look pretty uncomfy in that regard. I don't think I'd want to try it only because of that.
