Hi Everyone!

I wanted to start out by commending Luneshop on their amazing customer service. I was extremely happy with their level of support and kindness and highly recommend them. They bent over backwards for me and I can tell that they truly care about their customers.

Next up, I think I may have found my Goldilocks cup! It may be a little early to say for sure, but I think this one is perfect. I was having trouble finding a cup that:

- accommodated my heavy flow
- specifically stated that it was fine for use with IUD's
- didn't interfere with urination
- was an appropriate length for my low cervix
- and popped open easily

Enter Lunette Model 1. I always thought my heavy flow restricted me to size 2 models, but in a flash of brilliance I decided to try a smaller size. I love everything about the Lunettes in general, especially how easy it is to pop open, so if this little baby can accommodate my flow, I'll be one happy lady! And the Aine colour is just gorgeous!

So, for those of you who experience bladder issues but don't want to get a super soft cup, (I personally find that they take a lot more effort to pop open- something I don't want when I'm on the run), Lunette model 1 in your favourite colour may just be your Goldilocks cup, too!

I have a Lunette 1 in Selene. My first cup ever, and I love it. You may notice that your heavy flow isn't too heavy - that's what I found out when I used mine. I could have swore I bled heavily, but when I started using the cup, I learned my heavy bleeding wasn't all that heavy at all. Tampons just SUCK. I can leave my cup in for up to 12+ hours, even on the "heavy" day. Hopefully this is your goldilocks cup!

Everything you've said is resonating with me--I only recently realized I really want to give a Lunette size 1 a try. But I'm currently forcing myself to wait as I have a large Meluna waiting for this month. If I still don't feel quite right, I'll have to cave and give the Lunette a try.

I also consider my flow on the heavier side, but since switching to a cup am beginning to conclude maybe I'm more moderate flow than I thought. I've only used my Diva so far and did have hesitation problems when trying to use the bathroom, possibly it's a bit big for me? Either way, it felt comfortable overall other than for that.

Let us know how the Lunette goes--definitely curious!

Could you please describe the Aine colour to me? Is it orange, red orange, red, pink or pink orange?

Thanks :)

Hey!

It's a pretty coral in some lights and soft orange in others. And so far so good with this one! Seeming to be pretty Goldilocks-like! Yay! :)

Thank you all.

Also great that it's working for you, I have a large Lunette Diana and was thinking of possibly getting a back up but wasn't sure which colour. I don't like pink so that's why I asked the question, lol.

My Aine Review!
Hello Again!

After almost a full cycle with my new Lunette Aine Model 1, I thought I'd come back and give a review since some of you were interested in my experience with it.

So to recap, my search for a cup that allows me to urinate without issues, accommodates my heavy flow, pops open easily, can be used with an IUD and is good for those with a low cervix led me to try the Lunette Model 1. Although I had good experience with the model 2, it still made fully emptying my bladder challenging. I'm happy to say that the model 1 has fixed that issue! It doesn't interfere with urination at all! It also seems to have held up nicely to my heavy flow, needing to be emptied roughly every 5-7 hours on my heaviest day and maybe twice on every other day.

I can definitely tell that it's softer than the model 2, and therefore more comfortable to insert and remove. That being said, it still popped open 99% of the time for me which makes me very happy! I don't want to have to coax open my cup and worry whether it's popped open or not. My model 2 would very distinctly pop open inside of me (sometimes startling me!), whereas the model 1 pops open more slowly and gently.

Next, the stem is noticeably longer on the model 1 than on the model 2, but because it's so soft and flexible it's comfortable and I have therefore chosen not to trim it.

The pouch is a beautiful vibrant pink satin with coral colour flowers and is *slightly* smaller than the Model 2 bag.

Overall, I think I have indeed found my Goldilocks cup. I've tried the Diva Size 1, Lunette Model 2, large Yuuki, medium Meluna and now the Lunette Model 1 and I have to say that Lunettes are by far my favourite. I think they're very intelligently designed and I also think the company is very ethical.

Hopefully this review helps you in some way! Happy Cupping! :D
