So I own the small Ladycup and I've been using it for about 5 months now. It is my first menstrual cup and overall I have to say that it is pretty good.

After a few days of hit-and-miss, I find inserting/releasing the cup fairly simple, it rarely leaks, and I don't have to empty it too often.

The huge issue I am having though is that the stem quite noticeably pokes my vaginal wall and rubs against it when I move around. It's not the worst feeling ever but it's unpleasant enough that I am looking into getting a new cup.

I've thought about shortening/cutting the stem but found that it was extremely difficult for me to reach the base of the cup with my fingers alone.

Since the stem stops quite a bit up inside me, I'm looking for a cup that is longer and hopefully has more stem to avoid this issue again.

I really enjoy the squishiness of the Ladycup so I'm hoping to find a cup that is similar in that aspect but I'm willing to branch out.

I also think I am going to swap to the large-size because the small Ladycup gets a little lost in there and I find myself changing it every few hours.

I've looked around the forum for a few days now and examined most of the charts and the choices I am looking at most seriously are

  • Large cuplee: this has the length I am seeking (even though the stem is quite small) and it rates as very soft. I am hesitant about getting this cup because I fear it may be too soft and I really don't know if a firmer cup would comfortable and/or stop the occasional leaks I get with my Ladycup
  • Large Lunette: I really like the way that this cup is shaped and it's length/stem make it look pretty ideal to me but I keep hearing that it is super firm.
  • Large Fleurcup: I like the size of this cup and I also like that it is of apparently similar softness to the Ladycup
  • Large Yuuki: The Yuuki rates as quite large but I like the shape of it. Like the Lunette, it is apparently very firm

So overall I'm hoping to get some opinions from people who have used a few of these cups (and maybe used the Ladycup) about what worked out for them.

Advice in particular about firmness would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Huh??? Serpent_849, why are you so against the Fleurcup? Did you have a bad experience with one?

I'm in Australia and have had no issues whatsoever ordering anything from abroad including the Fleurcup (when you are Australian, you find that its a priority to order things from O/S if you're on a budget). I'll admit that it was the first thing that I have ordered from France and if that is anything to go by then I have no hesitations ordering anything else from there.

I ordered my Fleurcup and my Lunette (luneshop.com) on the sameday and the Fleurcup arrived 2 days before the Lunette. The price for the Fleurcup was good too EUR14.99 + EUR3.99 for postage. Their site was straightforward as well.

well good for you. i don't trust our post and i prefer having the opportunity to get stuff delivered directly to me or, even better, to meet the delivery person at a metro station (because then they won't make you wait). i think it's silly that they sell only through their official site, though there weren't any russian distributors before that either.
i was just pointing out that there's no need to get a fleurcup if the OP wants somethink like Yuuki but softer. i do rec it when i really see that it's the best option.
