I got some samples of Ruby Cup (3 to be exact), their first models and their final model. But I've only bothered to post pictures of their final model, since the other two are just like this one, only a solid stem instead of a hollow one. With the last sample, they let me have the box, the instruction and the pouch!
I should have asked a lot sooner if it was ok to share these yet! lol. Maxie, the owner, said she meant to email me a while back about it. Also that their website http://ruby-cup.com/ should be up and running for sales by next week! :D
But on picture sharing-- better late than never, right? At first they asked me not to share, because they wanted to wait until they had their final model. But I asked yesterday if I could share the pics yet and they said yes.
I'm also waiting for word to share pictures of the sample I got of yet ANOTHER new brand, but sadly.... I'm not allowed to say which one, or from what country yet. :) As soon as I get permission, I will.
As for the Ruy Cup-- LOVE IT! It has great capacity. Not too firm, but not too soft. Easy to grab. Grips are more like ripples rather than rings, really smooth, but defined. Clear cup with a matte finish. Hollow stem. Tiny grip treads at the base, should be visible in the photos. Holds up to my flow great, and the body of the cup is not too long.
For my regular cup I use a small Lunette, but I like this one for really heavy days and when I'm out of the house all day.
Most of these pictures are mine, but I'm also including the new pictures Maxie sent me, they are nice! Have fun looking, everyone :)
More on Ruby Cup-- I just added 2 new photos, showing the older experimental models vs. the new final model. Also here is the measurements/capacity info on the final model:
Rim circumference – 5.5 inches
Rim diameter – 1 ¾ inches
Body length – 2 inches
Stem length – 3/4 inches
Overall length – 2 ¾ inches
Capacity: 20ml to the holes
Just over 30ml to the rim
