Ok, so after two hours of trying, I finally have my Lunette small cup in. It's fine although this is slight uncomfort in the front of the cervix. I'm not sure if the cup didn't pop all the way or if it's just bc it's my first time in, but if anyone can help that'll be great! I've put my fingers in, and it feels ok, but it still is uncomfortable. I'm 14 years old, and a virgin.

It could be that it's your first time in. When you take it out, let your insides rest a bit (sometimes you can get sore in the beginning with a lot of inserting and removing) and try again later. If it's less uncomfortable, it could be because it was your first time in and your body wasn't used to it. You might also be bumping your cervix a bit. You might try inserting it a bit lower next time if you can (not if you have a low cervix and it's sticking out, obviously). It'll sit where it wants after you let go, of course, but that way it maybe will sit more comfortably. If it leaks a lot, it probably hasn't opened properly, and that might also be the problem.

Hope this helps!

I think you may have pushed it too far in, keep the stem as close as possible to the entry of your vagina. putting it too far can cause pain and due the slant of your vagina it might not seal properly and leak.

When I first stared using a cup, I found that it would sometimes take 5 minutes or so for it to get comfortable. My cup rides pretty high, but I was trying to insert it and keep it low, like the instructions in the packaging said. If I would try to adjust it, it would only take longer to get comfortable.

I could feel the cup, and sometimes discomfort, for several minutes before it found the right place, at which time, I would not be able to feel it at all.

You might want to try sitting or laying down for a few minutes and reading or watching TV to get your mind off it and see if the discomfort sorts itself out. That's what worked for me.

Thanks everyone! I took it out after an hour or so, and there was some blood, and no leaking. I'm going to try it later today and see if that'll help
