So, I posted a little about this after I used the diva cup the first time, and it happened again so I'm going to ask about it again. I used the diva cup for the second cycle, and I keep getting this pain on one specific spot on my vagina. It almost feels like a bruise or something. The first cycle, I used the cup for four days before I felt this pain, and it went away when it stopped, this cycle, I experienced pain two days into using it, and it's been four days and I can still feel it! I don't know why this is happening, I have no problems putting it in or taking it out, it just hurts when I leave it in. Honestly I'm a bit miffed. I really, really, really wanted this product to work, and it just isn't. In fact, I'm probably going to make a trip to the gyne to see what's up down there, but before I spend the money on a doctors visit, has this happened to anyone else? Is there anyway to keep it from happening?

Can you tell us where exactly this pain is? Maybe that would help someone come up with a good suggestion.

It basically starts out about two inches in on the left side. If I don't take out the cup it spreads so there is a whole line of pain there.

If that's the case then you probably have the wrong type of cup for you. Too wide or too stiff maybe.

This. Try to aim the cup at your cervix and let it open low so it has better chances of fitting (o) around it. Couls it also be that this cup is too long for your body, and puts pressure on your cervix ? if you think that's the case, try flipping it inside out to shorten it (only if you think you'll still be able to grab the bottom this way). If everything else fails, look for a softer cup.
