I'm really interested in menstrual cups, mainly because pads are so annoying, and far from eco-friendly. After reading through here and other reviews/groups everywhere, I'm more confused than ever! So, background. I'm 14, a virgin, and have a pretty light flow. I really like the design of the MeLuna Soft (and glitter! I'm a sucker for glitter) but I can't figure out which size to get. While on my period, I can reach my cervix relatively easy with my middle finger (so about three inches), but I dunno if that means I'm a small/medium/whatever. I'd really like to get the right one on the first try...

I would say you're probably medium or high. Check out the sizecharts. According to the first chart, you'd probably want a medium or large. You might be able to go extra large, but I'd recommend the medium or large because it's easier to use a cup that's too short than a cup that's too long.

I'd say go for the large, you could always trim the stem or ball. Not so much the ring though.

3 inches = 7.62 cm

The medium is 6.1 cm with a full traditional stem, and the large is 6.6 cm with the stem too... not much of a difference, but still, it'll fit easily, and you won't have to reach in too far. Most cups will sit (o) around your cervix, which may gain you a few extra mm.

If you order from the meluna website, they'll probably throw in an extra cup !
