I hope it's ok to post this. I wanted to let you know about a new cup brand, the Natù menstrual cup.

When I first saw the blog post by "Coppette, Amore, e" http://www.ecomestruazioni.it/coppetta-mestruale-natu I was really excited to see another brand!

Then I recognised the cup and thought I had seen it before. I have, it's identical to the Si-Bell menstrual cup.

This caused quite a discussion on my Feminine Wear facebook page and I wondered if Natù had copied the Si-Bell's design. I emailed Si-Line, the company that makes the Si-Bell and "Coppette, Amore, e" emailed Natù.

It has been established that the Natù is almost identical to the Si-Bell and that Si-Line has allowed them to use the same mould to market their product. So, we have 2 identical brands on the market, made by 2 companies!

Here is Melissa's post about the Si-Bell http://menstrualcupinfo.wordpress.com/about-si-bell-cup/ you can see they are the same.

My main question is...why have 2 cups that are the same, made by 2 different companies?

I wonder if one is stiffer than the other?

But that seems counter productive.... :-/

Si-Bell say that the raw silicone may be different, so there could be a stiffness difference

I know most of us buy cups online, but perhaps they plan on marketing in-store in different countries? Maybe it widens accessibility somehow?
