Dry run while not on period

I wanted to wear my lunette cup for a few hours just to get used to it and see if one position is better than the other etc. Also im just curious to see how much i can do with it (i understand almost anything i just want to understand how it feels at first) And if i should cut the tab off (I inserted it once for a few minutes and the tab did cause a lot of discomfort)

Will it cause any complications? Or will things run smoothly? Im also curious to see how much lubrication my body produces lol.
