Rinsing the cup in non-potable water

Hello all,

I'm on vacation in Marrakesh, Morocco. I got here yesterday, which was also the second day of my period. I rinsed my cup in the sink last night after emptying it without thinking about it, but then this morning I realized that might not have been a good idea, since the tap water is non-potable. Is there any risk of infection or anything like that if I continue to rinse my cup in the sink/shower?
