Iud and Cup

Hello!  I've been a long time Diva Cup size 1 user and I hardly ever had problems with leaks unless the cup wasn't placed correctly.  However, I've had my Copper Iud for one period and just starting the next and I am having major leaking problems with the cup and Iud.  I recently replaced my old Diva Cup so this one should be fine suction wise and it definitely opens up and appears and feels to be placed correctly.  Any advice for this leaking issue?
