Too much suction?

First, thanks to everyone to shares their experience and insight in this community.  You make the transition to using cups *so* easy.

I'm new, so let me introduce myself.  Me: 31, no kids (yet), just got through my first cycle with Diva size 2.  A few minor teething issues this first cycle, but all in all, very successful.

Here's the rub: On the third night of my cycle, I woke up in quite a bit of pain in my pelvic floor.  I didn't think much of it and chalked it up to getting used to the cup. It wasn't like menstrual cramp pain (I don't get cramps), but rather like a pulling sensation.  The next day was fine, no pain or discomfort during the day.  But the next night, the same pain woke me up again.  In the interest of getting a decent night's sleep, I took out the cup for the rest of the night and the pain went away.

I have a feeling that when I lie down and my pelvis relaxes, the muscles naturally lengthen, and this may be resulting in the cup suctioning/pulling on my pelvic floor muscles and/or cervix and causing the pain.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any suggestions?  It seemed only to be an issue once my flow lightened up by night 3/4.  Thankfully by that point I don't have to wear anything at night.

One other quick question--I'm going to France in the spring and will probably buy one of the Euro brands while I'm there.  Does anyone know where to find them, in la pharmacie?  Thanks!
