Hello All!

I've checked back and was able to find that someone posted lovely photos of their blue Fleur but I would very much like to see current "real life" photos of the green Fleurcup . Melissa's review (she's awesome!) was done a while ago when the color was still called Lilac and there has since been a change to a softer material and color scheme.

If anyone has any pictures (or would like to snap a quick one) of their recently purchased colored Fleur I'd appreciate it so much if you'd shared them. :)

I use a small clear glitter ring stem Meluna and recently gave my younger sister a small Lunette Selene an she loved it so I'm slowly spreading the word and in this case I'm getting it as a surprise you're-on-the-fence-about-cups-because-they're-semi-expensive gift for a friend and maybe one for myself and Fleurcups (right for her body type) are on sale! So I'm very excited about that (I go kind of crazy for Christmas. Yay for perfect gifts and perfect deals!).

e.t.a.: some lovely members were able to show me pictures of their purple and pink fleurs (and I'm happy to say that for one of my new purchases I will definitely be going with the purple!) but would anyone happen to have recently bought a GREEN fleur that they wouldn't mind snapping a photo of?

I have pictures of the small Fleurcup of before I took it out of the package. (I'd take pictures of it out of the package but I don't have it with me.)

If you're interested pm me your email address because I haven't got the faintest idea on how to post a picture from a free LJ account.

That's very gracious of you; thank you! But no need to worry if it's not on hand, someone very kindly showed me their pink and purple ones.

fairy cup mother...i LOVE it. i've gifted three cups. two of the three people use them. i've told countless people. even just telling people makes me happy. i can't believe i never even heard of them til i was 33!

It's awesome! :) I wouldn't even use tampons because of how uncomfortable and after getting over the initial squick factor (which is completely gone) it's one of the best discoveries ever! Lucky you did find out about them sooner rather than later! :D

I have a small violet fleur, a large pink fleur, a small yuuki, a small ladycup, and a small lunette. They look weird on my fingers, but I got the best light by doing that :D

My cup family from left to right is my small yuuki, small violet fleur, large pink fleur, purple ladycup, and lunette selene.

This is how they look in real life except my lunette, which is a little lighter. These are my cups: yuuki, small fleur, ladycup, large fleur, and lunette. The pink is bubble gum-mish and the purple is grey-ish purple. But I love both colors.

If you want more pics I can take more :)

Thank you so much!! This was too sweet of you and extremely helpful! You have a lovely collection!

Now I'm stumped on wether to buy my friend the pink or purple!

Your Welcome :)
While I like the capacity of my large, I prefer the purple fleur's color :D

Is that small purple one in the middle the ladycup? That looks like it might be perfect for me- smooth, small, and a cute color. I have a Diva 1, but I've been wearing it inside out lately because it was leaky and uncomfortable. I'm going to start looking into getting a new cup soon.

Yep that's my ladycup :) I have a love/hate relationship with it because it was my first.

I recently got a large violet fleur. I would be happy to take some pics of it, but I don't know how to upload them here. Can I email them to you?
Cynthia: Book Heartstarstruckfeie on October 5th, 2011 06:14 am (UTC)
Yes please! I'm leaning toward it but I'm still on the fence about wether to buy the violet fleur or not.

Like the user kindly said above: "just go to a picture hosting site like tinypic and upload it then use the html code <[img src="direct link to picture"]>

without the brackets [ ], and put the direct link to the image between the quotes."

but if that's too much hassle my email address is firefairy227[AT] and I'd love it if you could send the pictures there.

Just a curious question: how can you know a certain cup to be right for someone else's body type?
Cynthia: Disney - Beauty and the Beaststarstruckfeie on October 5th, 2011 07:27 am (UTC)
To be quite honest, I actually just threw that in there because I've seen a lot of members here get a lot of flack for wanting to buy a cup as a gift. customarily cup buying is a very personal thing after the person does a lot of research so giving them as gifts is not really common. but I do know a few things about my friend's vagina (that sounds weird) because she said when she went to get her first pap the doctor remarked on her "small" vagina because she had to use the smallest speculum so I'm assuming her cervix would sit low as well.

I'm still kind of wary of putting something in my vagina that would be too big and hurt me (though I know it's mostly in my head because it's not a problem for so many) which is why I'm still using my small soft meluna even though it fills quickly. before cups I never even used tampons because I found them to be uncomfortable and painful upon removal if they weren't soaked enough.

So after a lot of research I found that the softer bell shape of the fleur and its squishiness would better suit me (who's afraid of tampons) in my need for an upgrade to a higher capacity so it should hopefully suit her (and her small vagina who has no problem with tampons) who doesn't really want to put effort into looking up different cup manufacturers and actually buying one.

I know that was long winded but your question was valid and I didn't want to come off as sounding uneducated (because it is hard to know how a cup would fit a person because how they look outside has nothing to do with how they look inside.)

maybe I should have lied and saved us both some time and said we were lovers ;P

Heh, that would have worked, yes :-)

If she has a narrow vagina, that doesn't necessarily mean that her cervix is low as well. But on the other hand, the small Fleurcup (like all cups) will work for a whole range of users, and there is a good chance that it'll work for her, too.

oh! also, I didn't want someone to comment on me making the wrong cup choice for my friend because without my remark it would seem like I chose this cup purely because I was excited there was a sale! lol

Pictures of my Fleurcup are here:
and here:

Not sure if it was called lilac or violette when I bought it, but it's rather soft, so it should be the new version.

Thank you for the links! The purple is lovely. I think I will definitely go for that for my friend because she loves purple. i was just unsure of how it looked in real life.

I don't mean to squick you out but I had a Lunette Cynthia (my name!) and didn't like it because I was unable to see the blood inside because it didn't contrast with the cup. it's my own little science experiment! plus it helps with cleaning. but the purple fleur seems light enough to get a good contrast (still not sure of the pink).

I actually think you were the first person to turn me onto the fleurcup when I saw your filing down post a while back! You did a great job! (also your folding method seems great. i use punch down with my small meluna bc the labia fold is too hard to do on it. but definitely when I get a sm fleur the labia seems the perfect way to go!
m03m on October 5th, 2011 09:14 pm (UTC)
I remain unsquicked, and blushingly thank you for your kind words!

And yes, it's very easy to see the blood against the pale greyish violet of the violette Fleurcup.

I'm not sure when they changed the material, but my green fleur is not stiff.

My large green fleur in not so great lighting: It is brighter than in the pic, more of a perfect minty green.

Thanks for posting your pic. I ordered one but it hasn't come yet drats! I love minty green... hope it comes before my next cycle.
