So I've been agonizing over this decision for a long time and was hoping for some help, especially since I'm going abroad soon and don't have too much time left to keep looking around :). I really loved the idea of menstrual cups and bought a small Keeper cup a while ago. After using it for a few cycles though, I think I started developing a sensitivity to the latex and sadly started looking for another cup to use. I don't think I ever had problems with leakage with the Keeper, but did have trouble with removal and insertion, and am hoping that a softer silicone cup will help with that. My cervix tends to sit low during my period.
So I'm looking for a cup that has a softer rim, but hopefully won't compromise its ability to keep its shape and prevent leaks. Are there any cups out there that have softer rims and slightly stiffer bodies? If so, does that help prevent leakage? Which cups would you recommend?
Thanks so much for your help!
