I did a bunch of research about six months ago and ended up with a large Lunette Selene.  It was love at first use.  I've never had any problems with it, but I have had some leakage.  Usually because I've filled it up in half an hour and didn't empty it fast enough.  After this last period I decided I was tired of having to empty it so close together (although still FAR FAR better than tampons) and bid on a large Yuuki on eBay.  Then I read that Yuuki changed their cups and the large doesn't have such a large capacity.  :(  Does anybody know what the new capacity is?  I got it for $11 after shipping so it's still a great deal if it works for me as a backup cup so it's not a huge loss if it at least holds the same amount and fits me OK (I'm a little worried about the extra length over the Lunette, since that is plenty long for me most days).

the czech and russian versions of the official site both say it's 28ml to the holes.
if your cervix sits in the cup you might have better luck with one with a rounded bottom, like a large fleurcup or XL meluna.

Thanks for the numbers, I'm hoping I can use it past the holes. We'll see! The problem is not that my cervix is in the cup, it's that the cup is full to the brim. My cervix does drop down into the cup but that is towards the end and the Lunette handles those days just fine.

I am looking at the MeLuna XL as well. I figure between the co-op prices on the MeLuna and the eBay prices on the Yuuki, I can try both of them for less than a new (retail) Lunette.

What is the difference between a cup with a round bottom and a rather pointier bottom? Are some vaginas rounder than others? Sorry, I'm not very familiar with the female anatomy.

For me, having a lower cervix, the difference is that a pointy cup will chafe me on the inside, while a round-bottomed and smooth cup will be comfortable and work well.
Also, if your cervix sits in the cup, a round-bottomed cup will probably have more remaining capacity.

Large fleurcup and large yuuki both claim to hold 29 ml to the holes, which is 5 more ml than the large luntte to the holes.
