Yeast Infection with a Cup

I finished my period yesterday while using my Fleur cup and now I have a yeast infection. I probably didn't rinse soap off all the way at some point. Now the question. What do I do with my cup? I'm thinking the best thing is to boil it on the stove, but for how long and what else should I do, if anything? Also, now it smells like beer. Other than sunning it, what can I do to get rid of the smell? 

Update: I left it out on the windowsill for a week and the smell is gone. Yay!
