Leaking question

Hi menstruators,

This is my second cycle with my Mooncup (US). After some learning-curve kinks the first time around, I thought I had it figured out. It was working fine for the first couple of days of this period, but yesterday my flow started to get much heavier and I started to get leaks. Pretty quickly after I insert it I get some spotting which I thought might just be residual slobber, but it continues and gets heavier. The cup is never even halfway full, and I'm 100% sure that it's sitting around my cervix and has opened correctly and formed a seal, but still it leaks! I'm wearing a pad as a backup, which is not the end of the world, but I really loved not having to worry about leaks and I thought they were over. Is it possible I need another cup, one with more capacity or that fits differently? Any suggestions would be appreciated. This community has been a great resource for me in moving to cups and troubleshooting so far, so I'm hoping you can help me out here. Thanks so much!
