Don't want to give up on my cup- Help!

I've been using my cup for a several cycles and I'm starting to finally get the hang of it, but the last few times I've ended up with a yeast infection after the period ended. After that started, I stopped using Diva wash, and just went to plain water. I started washing my hands extremely carefully and still ended up with a mild irritation (yeast infection? B.V.?) after it was over. I'm tired of feeling itchy and shelling out money for yeast infection treatments. I never had a big problem with them before.

I boil the cup for 15 minutes after every cycle, and put it straight into a clean cloth pouch. I've boiled it, and today I've started on my first use of a 12 hour, 50/50 water/hydrogen peroxide solution soak to get rid of discoloration.

I'm thinking of trying tampons again this time around (starting in a few weeks) to see if I end up itch-free. I have an un-opened box of softcups I never tried, and I was debating on using those the time after that to see if the cup just isn't clean enough. After that, I'm not sure what to do.

What am I doing wrong? Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your response.
