This is Such a Great Community!

Hi everyone -

I've been lurking for about 2 months now and I just want to say thank you for all of the helpful information you have shared on this community.  I first learned about cups when I followed a link to the Lunapads website from a friend's Facebook page - this was almost 4 years ago!  I was intrigued, but only knew about the Diva Cup and I didn't have the guts to buy one without learning more about the product first.  It always stayed in my mind, though, because I'm an archaeologist and I wanted an option that didn't have me touching myself to change a tampon without access to clean wash water or a convenient and sanitary way to dispose of the waste of tampons and pads while on site.

Thanks to all the posts, charts, photos, and comparisons here I finally decided to order a Femmecup.  It arrived in the mail a couple of weeks ago and I was so ready to try it during my next cycle - and of course it figures, I'm on a research trip that week and learning to use a cup for the first time 3000 miles from home while sharing accommodations with my dissertation advisor and another grad student just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

But it is such a relief to know that when I finally do get to try it out, this community is here to help with any problems.  Thanks for creating such a useful and informative resource!
