Different cups for different days?

I've come back to these forums time and time again for the past year or so after the purchase of my first cup, a small Diva. I purchased it more out of convenience than anything, and though we've definitely had our issues, I'm happy that I finally tried a cup vs. the same old same old.  I'm 20, un-virgin, never been pregnant, tried several methods of birth control (estrogen + my body = hatred) and I'm finally off them entirely.

I'm planning to ditch my Diva. It's heavily stained and I can tell that I could do a lot better with a different cup..namely; the large Lunette Selene.   My reasons: hoping the firmer material will pop open easier, hate the heavy stained look of the clear Diva, but most importantly....I'm an ever-travelling student, always in public spaces and always on the go, I need to be able to keep my cup in for extended periods!

So my real question is, how many of you use more than one type of cup for the duration of your cycle?  I've taken to buying regular tampons when my period is reaching its end because wearing my Diva when I have a light flow is uncomfortable and often causes leaking (seems backwards I know...haven't worked out the physics of this).  Anyways, I would really like to FULLY convert to a cup because let's admit, after a cup...anything else just seems sacrilegious.   However, if I'm buying an even larger cup than my Diva...I can't imagine wearing it when my normally heavy flow turns into mild spotting.

I've read that some of you like to use a softer or smaller cup for your lighter days and I'd really like some opinions or comments on sizes/brands and so forth!
