Double Darn

I unexpectedly started my period yesterday.  I've only had 2 since 2006 due to being pregnant, nursing, pregnant and then nursing again.  I went 2 years after having my son but my daughter is only 9 months, so I definately wasn't expecting it.

So, I went to the drugstore yesterday b/c I had nothing on hand.  I found a box of Instead and thought they may be a good place to start while I figure out what kind of cup is best for me (which is totally overwhelming.)

I was initially excited about the Instead. After I put it in, it felt comfortable.  I went to bed and when I woke up, after standing, I could feel it leaking.  I tried again today.  I tried to insert it as explained, tilted back and down (while I was sitting on the toilet.)  I had a lot of trouble with it.  I felt like my vagina wanted to spit it out.  There was a lot of pressure.  It leaked.  I would take it out and put it back in.  I felt like I was going to put my whole hand inside me just to get it back far enough, only for it to pop back up to the front.   Let me admit right now, that, I am retarded about my anatomy.  I've seen pictures, but I still don't get it, so maybe I wasn't even close to doing it right.
