Heavy Flow... Does a larger cup make that much of a difference?

I posted last month- my first time using a small Diva cup, and I'm happy to say, the second time around, things are going a LOT better... I'm getting the hang of it.... and I have a feeling I wouldn't be having such bad leakage problems if it wasn't filling up to the brim so fast. I'm on one of my heaviest days, and I'm having to empty every 2-3 hours... So even though I'm glad I'm cutting down on waste, I'm still envious of people who can get by with panty liners and/or sleep through the night without having to get up. Maybe I'll get there eventually.

I'm reluctant to buy a new cup... especially being so new at this... I was trying to decide if I should try a larger capacity cup, or stick it out with this one a few more times. I'm already partial to the Diva now, so if I were to get a new one, I would get a larger Diva.

It seems to me, from the awesome Menstrual Cup Size Chart that's posted (Thanks!) That the difference between the large and small is about 5ml. Does it really make a difference? It doesn't sound like it would, but I've been wrong plenty of times, so.... :-) I'm wondering how much time would that buy me...

Would it be worth it to upsize if I determine that is the problem?
