new melunas?

How are the new Meluna's different than the old ones? I hate my old Meluna (I hate that it doesn't "bounce back" after I squish it, if that makes sense) however I know they changed the material Melunas are made of recently. My sis uses and loves her Ladycup however I'm thinking I might want to get her a second cup for backups/keeping at her boyfriend's house etc.
